What Are RHA Fillers?
The Revance RHA® Collection includes three types of fillers that are centered around using Resilient Hyaluronic Acid (RHA), a form of hyaluronic acid that allows for more dynamic facial expressions by recreating a “four-dimensional” look. With the help of TEOXANE’s RHA® Collection, patients can benefit from the flexibility and seamless appearance of hyaluronic acid that most closely mimics the compound we naturally produce.
Dr. Armstrong typically recommends TEOXANE products to patients who have been affected by an autoimmune disease, nodules, or excessive swelling in the past. The TEOXANE Revance RHA® Collection of fillers is exclusive to specialty aesthetic practices, meaning you won’t find this treatment at any leading MedSpa in your area. What Are the Different Types of
RHA Fillers?
There are four types of RHA fillers Dr. Armstrong may recommend to smooth wrinkles:
RHA 2
RHA 2 treats fine lines and shallow wrinkles, such as glabellar lines, vertical lip lines, and crow’s feet.
RHA 3
If you have deep nasolabial folds, marionette lines, or cheek creases when you smile, Dr. Armstrong may recommend RHA 3. This dynamic filler can also add volume to hollow cheeks and plump thin lips.
RHA 4
RHA 4 targets the deepest facial folds and wrinkles, particularly those in the lower half of the face and jowls.
RHA Redensity
RHA Redensity targets moderate to severe wrinkles. This formulation is ideal for men and women with perioral rhytids (vertical lip lines). Most treatments last for up to 12 months.
What Can I Expect During RHA Filler Treatment?
Dr. Jennifer Armstrong will perform your RHA fillers injections at our state-of-the-art facility in Orange County. To ensure your comfort, our aesthetic team may administer a topical anesthetic. Once your face is numb, Dr. Armstrong strategically injects the filler into your desired treatment areas. She may use multiple types of RHA fillers for beautiful, natural-looking results. The entire process typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete.
What Can I Expect After My RHA
Filler Treatment?
RHA fillers require no downtime or recovery period after treatment. While you can expect minor swelling, redness, and/or bruising at the injection site, these side effects usually subside within a few days of treatment. RHA filler results are immediate, but over the next 2 to 4 weeks, your results will continue to improve.
Most patients enjoy their results for 9 to 18 months, though Dr. Armstrong may recommend touch-up treatments 2 to 4 weeks after your
initial visit.
How Much Do RHA Fillers Cost?
The cost of your RHA filler treatment will depend on the extent of treatment needed to achieve your desired results.
