What is Excessive Sweating?
Excessive sweating, also commonly referred to as hyperhidrosis, is exactly what it sounds like. This condition causes patients to sweat profusely, regardless of the weather or the clothing they wear. Hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating is most prevalent around the hands, feet, face, head, and underarms, however, it can also affect less common areas to sweat on the body including the back, chest, belly, and legs.
