JUVÉDERM is a hyaluronic acid-based gel that simply replenishes the depleted hyaluronic acid your skin once had to provide you with a youthful complexion and plump skin. Dr. Armstrong and her team may recommend coupling your JUVÉDERM injections with collagen rebuilding treatments like microneedling and PRP therapy for ultimate results.

What Can I Expect During my
JUVÉDERM Treatment?
Your JUVÉDERM treatment will be performed by Dr. Jennifer Armstrong in our state-of-the-art facility. Before your JUVÉDERM injections begin, a topical anesthetic may be applied to your treatment area. This is to ensure you remain as comfortable as possible throughout your treatment. Once numb, Dr. Armstrong will begin carefully and strategically make a series of JUVÉDERM injections into your desired treatment area, typically around the lower two-thirds of the face. The entire treatment process generally takes less than 30 minutes to complete.
What Can I Expect After my
JUVÉDERM Treatment?
Because JUVÉDERM is a minimally invasive injectable treatment, there is no downtime or recovery period required following your appointment. Most patients report returning to work and other regular daily activities immediately following their JUVÉDERM treatments. Mild swelling, bruising, and tenderness around your treatment areas are normal, and typically subside on their own within a few days of treatment. You’ll be able to see some results of your JUVÉDERM injections immediately following treatment but will see ultimate results about seven to 14 days later once all swelling subsides. Dr. Armstrong and her team typically recommend coming in for regular JUVÉDERM treatments every nine to 12 months to maintain your desired look.

If you’re looking to reduce signs of aging around your lower face or enhance your natural facial features by adding some volume, JUVÉDERM treatments may be right for you. Ideal candidates for JUVÉDERM are in general good health and have realistic expectations of their results.
