What Are Threadlifts?
A threadlift does all the work of a facelift without having to deal with the cutting, scarring, recovery time, and anesthesia. Dr. Armstrong loves the threadlift so much that she even created her very own proprietary threads made with specially formulated Poly-L-Lactic acid (PLLA). These threads not only physically lift the features of the face, but the PLLA in the threads stimulates collagen production to help your results improve for up to two years. Over time, the PLLA threads simply dissolve, at which point patients can consider another treatment.

What Can I Expect During my
Threadlift Treatment?
Your threadlift will be performed by Dr. Jennifer Armstrong in our state-of-the-art facility. Before your treatment begins, Dr. Armstrong will cleanse your skin and administer a local anesthetic to your treated area. This is to ensure you remain comfortable throughout your treatment while still remaining awake. She will begin to place her proprietary PLLA threads into the skin using an injection method. Once the threads are placed, they will be manipulated to lift the skin and ultimately smooth away signs of aging. The entire treatment process typically takes less than 90 minutes to complete.
What Can I Expect After my
Threadlift Treatment?
After your threadlift treatment, you may notice mild redness, tenderness, bruising, and swelling around your treated areas. This is normal and typically resolves on its own with a day or two of treatment. While you may be able to see some initial results of your treatment immediately following your appointment, the ultimate results may take up to three months to appear. This is because the PLLA in the threads takes time to build up new collagen in the body. Dr. Armstrong may recommend using medical-grade skincare products to soothe your skin following treatment and to help maintain your desired results for the long term.
